Manage the operational aspects of global acquisitions and joint ventures, participate in strategy formulation, assist in transaction processes, and play a key role in ensuring effective integration post-acquisition.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support in managing merger and acquisition operations, participate in identifying potential targets and conduct due diligence to ensure alignment with the Group’s growth strategy.
  • Engage in evaluating and valuing potential merger and acquisition opportunities, conduct research and financial modeling, and assist in obtaining internal approvals for transactions.
  • Contribute to deal negotiation and direct the execution of merger and acquisition transactions while ensuring they are in the best interests of the company.
  • Liaise with different clusters and departments to ensure transactions are executed soundly from multiple perspectives.
  • Review and evaluate various transactional documents such as NBOs, BOs, SPAs, SHAs, TSAs, HoTs, etc., and participate in preparing investment presentations for senior management and relevant committees.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets, third-party advisors, and other key stakeholders to foster strategic alliances.
  • Manage the evaluation and selection process of third-party advisors for transactions, defining their scope of work.
  • Facilitate post-acquisition integration efforts to deliver synergies, capture value, and contribute to the Group and Cluster’s growth strategy.

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Support in providing guidance within the merger and acquisition team and other clusters.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and high performance.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of merger and acquisition strategies that align with the AD Ports Groups overall business goals.
  • Support the leadership team on merger & acquisition best practices and trends.
  • Manage the strategic planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all merger & acquisition programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
  • Masters degree is a plus
