About The Opportunity

About the Opportunity

Are you an Arabic speaking, talented Higher Education professional with experience implementing Student Information Systems (SIS) and Student Accounts Receivables (AR)? Ellucian is currently looking to add a Principal Professional Service Consultant with SIS and Student AR implementation experience to our team. Our professional services team is instrumental in consulting with our customers and delivering value add services that provide the quickest path to institutional success.

Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. In this mission critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their transformation to cloud/SaaS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions.

Where you will make an impact

  • Accountable for all aspects related to service delivery of our Colleague Student and Student AR solution. Includes driving delivery improvement and engaging with our Higher Education customers.
  • Collaborate with consulting teams and peers to ensure customer and Ellucian project expectations are exceeded.
  • Identify and remediate issues that impede enabling customer greatness.
  • Drive innovative and transformative strategies which will ensure successful SaaS implementations.
  • Ability to implement a SaaS solution focusing on business outcomes by means of standardized business and application processes by capability rather than technical ability to create bespoke functionality
  • Technical ability to use platform tools to enable workflows, reporting and persona card creation to simplify the user experience in the front end.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience by ensuring development, use and maintenance of services artifacts that exceed customer expectations.
  • Proactively prepare for and deliver high quality implementation consulting services.
  • Success will be measured by customer satisfaction and achievement of projects success.
  • Consult with customers to drive performance improvement, own problems, execute with precision, and professionalism.

What Will You Bring

  • Higher Education, SIS and Student AR experience (10+ years).
  • Implementation and consulting experience (7+ years).
  • SIS and Student AR product experience, including consulting experience on relevant solutions – Banner will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Must present a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate to C-level and project leaders both internally and externally.
  • Enabling delivery readiness, problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Experience developing and mentoring other consultants.
  • Strong prioritization skills, able to manage activities based on business impact.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Support and demonstration of Ellucian values.
  • Ability to travel onsite to deliver consulting and implementation services based on Ellucian delivery methodology.
