Pricing Manager - Revenue Management at Etihad

What You'll Do

As Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for defining the optimal pricing strategy across Etihad's network, balancing demand, market conditions, competitor activity, and commercial objectives to maximize revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver monthly revenue performance against agreed commercial and network revenue targets.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies across multiple market segments, ensuring Etihad's products and services are competitively positioned against benchmark carriers.
• Forecast consumer demand and manage availability across pricing levels to optimize revenue opportunities throughout the year, particularly during peak travel periods, holidays, and special events.
• Ensure the accuracy of demand and fare forecasts that serve as critical inputs into Etihad's revenue optimization systems.
• Monitor market conditions, economic indicators, consumer trends, and competitor activity to make proactive daily pricing and demand management decisions.
• Evaluate and approve pricing requests from key commercial stakeholders using logical, fact-based analysis and commercial judgement.
• Partner closely with Market Managers and other commercial teams to align pricing decisions with broader business objectives.
• Act as a key stakeholder in the development of customer-centric products and commercial initiatives, ensuring revenue optimization considerations are embedded throughout.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing performance, forecasting accuracy, and revenue management processes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in airline pricing, revenue management, commercial strategy, network planning, or a related analytical field.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and revenue management principles.
• Proven ability to analyse complex datasets and translate insights into actionable commercial decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to make high-impact decisions in dynamic market conditions.
• Experience working with forecasting, pricing, or revenue optimization systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across multiple teams.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
• Advanced analytical and presentation skills with a high attention to detail.

• Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience
• 5 years working experience in a numerate and analytical role
• High familiarity with airline systems, such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, MIDT, management accounting reports, etc
