Job Purpose

To care for and manage poultry according to the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and farm efficiency. You ensure birds are healthy, comfortable, and stress-free. Maintaining the balance of feed, light, air, and care that defines our farm. Every day, you uphold the principles of responsibility, respect, and consistency that make this the most ethical poultry farm on the planet.

Key Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and observe birds daily to ensure optimal health and comfort.
• Maintain consistent house temperatures, ventilation, and lighting in line with welfare standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare poultry houses between batches.
• Report immediately any sign of illness, distress, or equipment malfunction to the Supervisor.
• Collect and record data on feed intake, mortality, and bird weights accurately.
• Support daily health inspections and welfare monitoring.
• Follow all biosecurity protocols; shower-in/shower-out, PPE, and restricted zone control.
• Ensure strict segregation of tools and clothing between houses.
• Assist in loading and unloading birds during transport days with care and calm handling.
• Maintain the cleanliness of surrounding farm areas, feed silos, and equipment.

• Bird Mortality Rate - ≤ 2% per flock cycle
• Welfare Compliance - 100% adherence to welfare SOPs and inspection results

• Feed & Water Accuracy - 100% correct recording of feed and water usage
• Biosecurity Adherence - Zero violations on random checks
