Job Description
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of Sustainable Heterostructured Z-Scheme Photocatalysts for Green Energy Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, synthesis, characterization, and performance optimization of advanced heterostructured photocatalysts for solar-driven hydrogen production, CO₂ reduction, and related green energy systems. The role includes experimental work, advanced materials characterization, electrochemical analysis, data interpretation, manuscript preparation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary research teams. The candidate is also expected to contribute to proposal writing and supervise graduate students when required.
Minimum Qualification
PhD degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or closely related field, supplemented with documented evidence to support the following:
