Job Description

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of membrane technologies for water desalination. The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the development of lignin-based functional membranes for desalination and water treatment applications.

Minimum Qualification

• PhD in Chemical Engineering (freshly graduate) or a closely related field.
• Experience in polymeric membrane fabrication and characterization.
• Knowledge of advanced functional materials for water treatment or desalination applications.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory research and analytical characterization techniques.
• Demonstrated research productivity through publications patents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong scientific writing and project management skills.

Candidates currently residing in the United Arab Emirates will be given preference.
