Job Description

The Information Systems and Security Department is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on a project on Trust Management-based Distributed Systems. The project is funded by the UAEU Startup project and will be conducted at the College of Information Technology (CIT), UAEU. The postdoc must have experience in distributed systems, trust and security management, data privacy, and IoT and must be familiar with machine learning and AI concepts with strong programming, communication, and writing skills.

Minimum Qualification

Ph.D in computer science, computer networks, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Preferred Qualification

• Published articles in leading journals and conferences.
• Knowledge of working on developing advanced machine learning models (e.g. deep learning, NLP, Computer Vision) and analytics solutions.
• Programming experience particularly in Python
• Proven experience in related technology such as cloud computing, distributed systems, Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, etc.
• Experience in ML model deployment.
• Experience in writing fund proposals.
• Experience in filing Patents.
