Job Description

The Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the College of Business and Economics, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher. The selected candidate will contribute to the research project titled “Global Impact via Business Support Innovation Ecosystem Spawning Entrepreneurial Firms in the UAE.” This research focuses on entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems for start-ups, emphasizing the development of frameworks and solutions to enhance the UAE’s entrepreneurial landscape. The Postdoctoral Researcher will work collaboratively with the research team including the Work Leader Professor Maqsood Ahmad Sandhu, Principal Investigator, to advance the project’s objectives. The position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in high-impact research addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the UAE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. o Conduct in-depth literature reviews and develop a theoretical framework for the study. o Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups. o Perform diagnostic analysis to identify internal and external factors influencing entrepreneurial ecosystems in the UAE. o Produce high-quality academic papers and reports based on research findings. o Prepare and submit publications to leading journals and conferences. o Regularly update project progress and ensure alignment with milestones.

Minimum Qualification

• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management, or related fields from a recognized institution.
• A strong publication record in relevant academic journals.
• Expertise in data analysis (qualitative and quantitative), strong project management abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multicultural research teams.
