Job Description

The Emirates Center for Entrepreneurship Research (ECER) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Ain, invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position in Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will contribute to ECER’s research agenda in entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, SMEs, and family businesses. Working with the ECER research team, the Fellow will conduct high-quality, policy- and industry-relevant research; contribute to research proposals and funded projects; analyse data; prepare academic publications and policy or industry reports; and support new research initiatives and external collaborations.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship, Management, Business Administration, or Innovation.

Preferred Qualification

Applicants must hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship, Management, Business Administration, or Innovation. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and communicate effectively in English.

Expected Skills

Experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, SMEs, family businesses, or sustainability research. Experience with research tools such as SPSS/AMOS, Stata, R, Python, or NVivo. Experience in funded research projects, grant proposals, policy reports, or industry reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with academic, government, and industry partners.
