Wood is currently recruiting for a Sr. Fabrication Site Manager - EPC2 to support a major offshore PMC project for ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all fabrication yard and site activities, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, schedule achievement, and effective coordination between project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead fabrication site execution activities in accordance with project objectives, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
Manage fabrication yard operations, including structural, piping, mechanical, and multidiscipline fabrication works.
Ensure fabrication activities are completed in line with approved schedules, budgets, and project specifications.
Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.
Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures, and recovery plans where required.
Drive compliance with ADNOC Offshore and Wood standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership to site teams while fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical and operational challenges.
Prepare and present progress reports to project management and client representatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience on large oil and gas development projects
Minimum of five (5) years of Managerial experience.
Extensive experience in fabrication management within large-scale EPC/PMC oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, welding, inspection, QA/QC processes, and construction practices.
Demonstrated experience managing large multicultural teams within fabrication yards and offshore project environments.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
