Project Manager QA/QC ( Infrastructure)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager QA/QC to join our team! This role involves executing complex quality activities to ensure products or services meet customer and Parsons' quality standards. The position requires coordination with cross-functional teams, implementation of ISO 9001-based systems, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate on development and maintenance of Quality Policies and Procedures
• Data collection and reporting
• Lead ISO 9000 improvement and reengineering initiatives
• Quality System training
• Review and approve quality manuals and procedures, technical deliverables, test plans, purchase orders and subcontracts
• Plan, schedule, and conduct internal quality audits across various sites and functions
• Ensure audits cover key areas: Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, etc.
• Document audit findings and ensure follow-up on corrective actions
• Facilitate internal and external audits; report results to management
• Analyze audit data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Participate in pre-bid, bid, and contract planning phases
• Ensure project deliverables meet Parsons and client quality standards
• Conduct quality reviews of design documentation and vendor quality records
• Verify compliance of purchased items and services with defined quality criteria
• Promote safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Participate in safety audits and assessments as needed
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Provide technical guidance to junior quality staff
• Perform statistical process control and trend analysis
• Monitor and report on project quality performance using internal and external data
• Support supplier qualification audits and ensure compliance with quality requirements
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Quality discipline, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 12 years of relevant experience in Quality, at least 6-8 in the Gulf
• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) or ASQ certification such as CMQ/OE, CQA, or CQE
• Working knowledge of one or more industries such as infrastructure, government, aviation, process, or transportation
• Demonstrated leadership potential and thorough knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes, and current technologies
• Experience with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and similar organizations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to management and effectively collaborate with professionals across departments
• Proficiency in business analysis concepts, including ROI and cost per unit assessments
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling tactful and effective cross-departmental collaboration
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities
• Comfortable with public speaking and making presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) and essential project planning skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Solid working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems
