Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Engineer (Commissioning Electrical) with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

Responsible for PMC supervision, technical review, coordination and monitoring of all electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization, start-up and handover activities performed by the EPC Contractor.

The Engineer shall ensure that electrical systems are commissioned safely, efficiently and in accordance with ADNOC requirements, project specifications, approved procedures, HSE requirements and applicable IEC/IEEE/NFPA standards. PMC commissioning roles typically act as the interface between ADNOC, EPC contractors, vendors, construction and Operations.
