Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Engineer (Comm. Electrical) for our client ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi as part of our Construction Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based in onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

• To facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract in line with Clients objective of progressing Work Order completion timely and to project schedule
• Coordination of the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works
• Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures and construction/installation requirements identified in the EPC Packages developed by FEED contractor to ensure efficient constructability
• Ensure the construction/installation plan, procedures and requirement developed by EPC contractor comply with the EPC Scope of Work intent and requirements.
• Coordinate and assist fabrication works at EPC contractor’s or EPC contractors subcontractor’s fabrication facilities

Expected

• Bachelor of Engineering in related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, being in a similar Engineer role for at least 5 years
• PMC experience on EPC Onshore wellhead field development projects is highly preferable
