Planning Engineer

· Develop and maintain detailed schedules for ELV & ICT scope aligned with the main contractor’s baseline program (Primavera P6).

· Load resources such as manpower, materials, and costs into schedules for resource-loaded planning.

· Prepare and present progress reports, efficiency analyses, and dashboards using Excel and project management tools.

· Monitor actual progress, update schedules regularly, and prepare latest forecasts reflecting project realities.

· Coordinate ELV/ICT works with MEP, civil, and architectural activities to ensure smooth workflow.

· Support the preparation and submission of Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including delay analysis and documentation.

· Analyze schedule variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to management.

· Assist in procurement scheduling and ensure alignment with construction milestones.

· Provide detailed reporting for internal teams and client stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

· Proficient in project documentation and reporting.

· Commercial awareness and contract management knowledge.

· Demonstrated resilience and efficiency in high-pressure environments with aggressive timelines.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

· 5–8 years of planning experience in ELV/ICT projects within the UAE.

· Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts).

· Experience in resource loading including manpower and cost.

· Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, BMS, PA, Structured Cabling).

· Familiarity with MEP coordination and cross-disciplinary scheduling.

· Well-versed in EOT processes and schedule updating for forecast accuracy.

· Experience on UAE government or infrastructure projects.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills.

· Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
