Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the human body, movement mechanisms, and the ability to assess and treat patients with physical disorders. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with patients, helping them to improve movement and manage pain, following surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses. You will develop tailored treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide advice on future care. Your role is crucial in enhancing the quality of care we provide to our patients and helping them to achieve optimal physical health and well-being. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to diagnose and plan treatment for impairments and physical dysfunctions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, strength, and overall physical condition.
  • Implement and administer a variety of physiotherapy techniques such as exercises, massage, and hydrotherapy.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, self-treatment protocols, and home exercise programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing improvement and recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide advice on managing physical challenges and encourage activities for health improvement.
  • Stay updated with new techniques and approaches in the physiotherapy field through ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure that all treatment complies with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Utilize specialized equipment safely and effectively to support patient rehabilitation.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to improving clinic operations and patient care standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrable experience in physiotherapy, ideally within a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, musculoskeletal disorders, and treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to design and implement effective patient treatment plans and exercise regimes.
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advances in physical therapy techniques.
