Physical Security Systems Design Consultant

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the design and integration of physical security systems within high-security and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of secure facilities, producing detailed technical drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio)
• Integrate physical security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection
• Ensure alignment with security accreditation requirements and regulatory frameworks
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and support compliance activities
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security stakeholders across project phases
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in physical security system design and implementation, with significant exposure to classified or high-security environments
• Experience supporting SCIF/SAPF design, construction, or facility security
• Working knowledge of established security frameworks and standards, including NISPOM, NIST (800 series), ISO/IEC security standards, and ASIS Physical Asset Protection (PAP) guidelines
• Strong understanding of risk management, accreditation processes, and secure design principles

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and mission assurance
• Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects in regulated environments
