Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to join our healthcare team. This role involves diagnosing, planning, and managing rehabilitation programs for patients with physical impairments due to injury, illness, or chronic conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care aimed at improving function, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation needs
• Develop customized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities and assistive technologies
• Oversee rehabilitation programs and monitor patient progress, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes, preventive measures, and health maintenance
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation
• Maintain comprehensive patient documentation and comply with medical regulatory standards
  
  

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Valid medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
