Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise and dedication to patient care will help to enhance patient outcomes through the precise dispensing of prescriptions, monitoring of therapeutic regimens, and offering pharmaceutical care. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide drug-related information and ensure compliance with medication protocols and standards. Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and process physician orders for appropriateness and completeness.

  • Maintain comprehensive patient medication profiles and accurate pharmacy records.
  • Conduct routine medication therapy management and initiate therapy interventions.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and best practice standards.
  • Educate and counsel patients on the proper use of medications and health promotion.
  • Participate in clinical programs and initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement measures within pharmaceutical services.
  • Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical research and practice guidelines.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacy license in good standing with local regulatory body.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and ethics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and technology tools.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
