Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately to patients in accordance with medical prescriptions.
  • Provide expert advice to patients on drug usage and safety precautions.
  • Review prescriptions for correct dosage, potential interactions, and contraindications.
  • Manage and maintain the pharmacy inventory to ensure an adequate supply of medications.
  • Educate healthcare colleagues on pharmacology and aid in medication therapy decisions.
  • Monitor patient progress to ensure the proper use and response to medications.
  • Compile and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Stay current with pharmaceutical trends and innovations to provide optimal patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach regarding medication safety and health promotion.
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and optimize patients’ medication regimens as needed.
  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians to enhance departmental performance and service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
  • Valid pharmacist license is mandatory for this role.
  • At least two years of experience in a pharmaceutical setting is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and contraindications.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with medical staff.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Proficient in operating pharmacy software and other relevant healthcare systems.
