We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by working closely with healthcare providers and patients. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients on the use of prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and dietary supplements. You will also be tasked with managing pharmacy operations, including inventory management and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of pharmacology, a detail-oriented approach, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with professionals and educate patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and execute physicians’ prescriptions ensuring clarity and error-free service.
• Counsel and educate patients on medication use, side effects, and storage instructions.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to ensure adequate medication stock and minimize wastage.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment plans.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings and provide immunizations as authorized.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any medication-related issues or inquiries.
• Stay updated on new drugs and developments in pharmaceutical care and practice.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary records, including patient profiles and billing information.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance expertise.
• Advocate for safe medication practices and contribute to community health initiatives.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid pharmacist license or in the process of obtaining licensure is mandatory.
• Proven experience working in a pharmacy setting with a solid grasp of pharmacology.
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to analyze and resolve problems swiftly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Skillful in managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Current CPR certification or capability to obtain certification shortly after hiring.
