We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and surgeries to ensure efficiency.
  • Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for appointments and treatments.
  • Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following established protocols.
  • Collect and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and dental records accurately.
  • Provide patients with pre-procedural instructions and post-operative care guidelines.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to minimize waiting times.
  • Take and process dental X-rays under the direction of the dentist or hygienist.
  • Assist in the management and inventory of dental supplies and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as billing and maintaining patient files as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with dental practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified dental assistant program.
  • State certification or licensure for dental assistants as required.
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant or relevant position in a dental setting.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and general office management practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems is highly desirable.
