PAUT Inspector

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PAUT Inspector located in Abu Dhabi. The PAUT Inspector will be responsible for performing phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) to identify defects, ensuring compliance to safety and quality standards, preparing detailed inspection reports, and maintaining testing equipment. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient project execution. Inspectors must uphold strict adherence to guidelines and protocols for non-destructive testing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), ultrasonic inspection, and other non-destructive testing techniques
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and industry codes
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Certification in related non-destructive testing methods (e.g., ASNT or ISO 9712 Level II in PAUT) is required
• Relevant degree or diploma in engineering or a related technical field is preferred
• Previous experience in oil field or industrial inspection is a plus.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering Degree
• Experience:
• At least 3 years of total post-graduation experience in any NDT discipline
• PCN PAUT Level 2 Certified
• PCN TOFD Level 2 would be added advantage.
