As a Painter/Polisher, you will ensure the hotel maintains its timeless beauty by delivering high-quality painting, finishing, and polishing work across all areas of the property.

What will I be doing?

As Painter/Polisher, you will:

• Carry out painting, varnishing, polishing, and finishing work in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and furniture.
• Inspect surfaces and finishes regularly to identify areas requiring maintenance or touch-ups.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and polishes to achieve a flawless finish in line with luxury standards.
• Repair and refinish furniture, woodwork, and decorative features as required.
• Maintain an organized inventory of paints, stains, and finishing materials.
• Ensure safe and proper use of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Work closely with other Engineering team members to support projects and renovations.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support smooth hotel operations.
  
  
  

• Previous experience as a Painter/Polisher, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of painting, finishing, and polishing techniques, including preparation and restoration.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently on both minor touch-ups and larger projects.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent requests.
• A positive, team-oriented approach.
