Job Description

As an Outdoor Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our products and services by engaging directly with potential clients outside traditional office settings. You will be in charge of presenting, promoting, and selling products to existing and prospective customers utilizing solid arguments and understanding of their needs. You should be an outgoing and skilled communicator who excels in a dynamic outdoor environment. Your primary objective will be to increase revenue by achieving sales targets and providing superior customer service. This position requires a great degree of travel, flexibility, and self-discipline, all essential in building robust customer relationships and meeting the strategic goals of our company.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to assess customer needs and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Identify prospective customers through cold calling, leads, and networking strategies.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through various means to promote sales efforts.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule deadlines.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments within the company.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and provide status reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and promotional trends in sales processes.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential solutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's diverse products and services.
  • Continuously improve through feedback and participation in sales training and programs.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in direct sales, particularly in an outdoor environment.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite and CRM software proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
