As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be at the forefront of treating a wide range of complex dental and facial disorders. The role demands high-level expertise in diagnosing and managing surgical conditions related to the maxillofacial region. With a commitment to providing excellent patient care, you will perform surgeries that encompass a variety of procedures, including tooth extractions, orthognathic surgeries, reconstructive facial surgery, and treatment of oral diseases. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes. Your adept skills in surgery, combined with a compassionate approach, will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, ensuring that patients receive effective treatments tailored to their individual needs. Engaging with patients throughout their treatment journey, you will provide guidance and support, ensuring that they are well-informed and comfortable with the procedures and their recovery process. 


Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical procedures addressing oral and maxillofacial diseases and injuries.
  • Conduct detailed assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patient treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other dental and medical professionals for comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement pre-operative and post-operative care protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and operative room protocols during surgeries.
  • Educate and inform patients on post-surgical care and recovery processes.
  • Manage and treat facial trauma, corrective jaw surgeries, and dental implants efficiently.
  • Maintain patient records thoroughly, detailing surgical procedures and outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and technological advancements.
  • Guide and supervise junior staff and surgery support team members.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings and case discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.


Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
  • Completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
  • valid dental and oral surgery license.
  • Extensive experience in facial trauma, corrective jaw, and implant surgeries.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional education and skill advancement.
