Operator Depot

Job Purpose

To carry out Quality control checks in the Depot and Apron and assists with fuelling and defueling of Aircraft.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

• Monitors storage tank dips. Carries out physical dips measures to ensure regular fuel level checks and compares the results against the tank gauging system. Completes floating suction checks, conductivity checks and routine serviceability checks on the tanks. Takes samples from filters, tanks, pipelines and other equipment in the Depot and shelters.
• Receipt of products by bridges and unloading into storage tanks as per company procedures.
• Loads the refuellers and/or transfers fuel to satellite tanks as and when required.
• Cleans and maintains all sampling equipment including buckets, bottles, close-sampling system, etc.
• Follows HSE procedures and wears Company issued uniforms and safety gear.
• Carries out fuelling operator duties as required.
• Performs other similar and related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
  
  

Housekeeping

• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
  
  

Reports

• Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
• Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

Has contact with Depot and Fuelling personnel.

External Communications & Working Relationships

Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required

Minimum Qualification

Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• 3 years of experience as a fuelling operator.
• Knowledge of fire and Health, Safety & Environment.
• Knowledge of English & Arabic.
• Valid UAE driving license.
