Job Description

As an Operations Executive specializing in Air Freight, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and coordination of air freight logistics operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning, organizing, and overseeing the processes involved in air freight transportation. You'll liaise with airlines, suppliers, and customers to ensure the smooth handling of freight from origin to destination. Your aim will be to streamline operations to increase efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from origin to destination.
  • Liaise with airlines and freight companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Manage and resolve any operational issues quickly to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry and safety regulations.
  • Review and streamline operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Monitor and track shipment status and address any emerging issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align freight operations with overall strategy.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and generate analytical reports.
  • Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize storage.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in air freight logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the air freight industry.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight logistics, regulations, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
