Operations And Security Engineer

About The Role

Design, automate, and maintain secure, reliable IT infrastructure by integrating operational excellence with security best practices. Manage infrastructure, automate deployments, enforce security controls, and ensure the stability, availability, and governance of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and systems management.
• Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust security principles.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, security patching, and remediation activities.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance across environments.
• Coordinate release deployments and production cutovers.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, governance standards, and operational best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and security-related issues.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and systems management.
• Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust security architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience managing vulnerability remediation and security patching.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, system health monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Knowledge of scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Relevant Microsoft, AWS, Azure, or cybersecurity certifications.
