Black & Grey HR is seeking an OD Specialist to join our client in the oil & gas sector in Abu Dhabi on a 6-month temporary assignment. The role will support the organisation’s HR function across organisation design, job architecture, job evaluation, compensation analysis, performance management, and manpower planning. The successful candidate will provide analytical and technical support to ensure organisational structures, roles, grading, and reward frameworks are consistent, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain organisation structures and org charts, including reporting lines, establishment positions, span of control, and organisational layering.
- Support organisation design, restructuring, and new function initiatives, including role mapping and transition documentation.
- Conduct job analysis and evaluation, draft and update job descriptions, and maintain job families, levels, career paths, and grading records.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and internal equity analysis, including salary structures, compa-ratios, pay gaps, and salary review modelling.
- Support annual salary reviews, promotions, and job upgrades through data analysis and modelling.
- Support the performance management framework, including goal-setting, rating methodology, calibration packs, and performance cycle reporting.
- Support manpower planning and budgeting, including workforce cost modelling, establishment tracking, and organisational change scenarios.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS, job, grading, and organisational data, while maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails.
- Support HR policy and procedure updates in line with internal governance and UAE labour requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc HR/OD analysis and reports as required by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisation Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Organisation Development, HR Consulting, HR Analytics, or a similar function.
- Strong experience in organisation design, job evaluation, job architecture, compensation analysis, and manpower planning.
- Strong analytical and data-modelling skills, with excellent proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems/HRIS.
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation, preferably within oil & gas, energy, engineering, or another industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of UAE labour regulations and HR governance.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and stakeholder management skills.
