NOC Engineer - L2

We are looking for a skilled NOC Engineer with over 7 years of experience in a NOC environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of network protocols including IP addressing, routing and switching technologies. The candidate should have advanced knowledge in network monitoring and troubleshooting, along with the ability to handle escalated incidents efficiently.

• 7+ years experience working in NOC Environment
• Ability to categorize quickly the nature of alerts
• Ability to immediately define priority of alert Incident
• Strong understanding of Network protocols, IP addressing, Routing & Switching technologies
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Network Monitoring troubleshooting and Incident resolution
• Experienced in handling Layer 2 & Layer 3 network devices
• Handling escalated incidents from L1.
• Ability to troubleshoot without access to Internet
• Ability to maintain SLA Response with zero breach
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate independently with cross functional team/s
• Strong process knowledge and experience in Linux, including Ubuntu
  
• Participate in Change Management
• Strong knowledge and experience in handling NOC monitoring tools
• Strong knowledge and experience in usage of ITSM ticketing tool
• Linux / ubuntu server administration
• Hands on backup expertise
• Understanding and hands on experience on storage technologies
• Good Experience in initiating and driving MI
• Good experience in Reporting & Analytics
• Good communication, analytical skills.
• ITIL certification is mandatory
• Minimum CCNP certification in mandatory
