Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neuro Diagnostic & Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will bring comprehensive knowledge in both diagnostic and interventional radiology with a focus on neuroimaging. This role involves analyzing medical imaging to diagnose neurological conditions, and conducting interventional procedures to treat various vascular and non-vascular diseases affecting the central nervous system. Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analyses of brain, spine, and spinal cord imaging to diagnose neurological diseases.
  • Perform interventional procedures like angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization effectively.
  • Interpret a variety of imaging studies including MRI, CT, and X-rays for neurological assessments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Engage in continuous education to remain updated on cutting-edge practices and technologies in radiology.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in imaging reports to aid in effective treatment by the medical team.
  • Provide detailed consultations to patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
  • Contribute to clinical research to enhance understanding and treatment of neurological conditions.
  • Maintain a high level of patient care, prioritizing safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Supervise radiological technologists and provide training and mentorship as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient confidentiality and safety.
  • Work with medical physicists to optimize image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of a radiology residency program.
  • Subspecialty fellowship training in Neuro Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology is required.
  • Board certification in radiology with an emphasis on neuroimaging and interventions.
  • Minimum of five years of post-fellowship experience in a similar clinical setting.
  • Proficient in performing both diagnostic and interventional neuro radiology procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting complex imaging data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions and teamwork.
