A Network Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, security, and efficiency of an organization's computer networks. This position is crucial for ensuring that networks are running smoothly and that employees have meaningful access to necessary technology resources. A Network Administrator manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all network infrastructure which includes WAN, LAN, WLAN networks, servers, PCs, hardware, and software. This role is essential for enabling digital transformation and ensuring users are equipped with the computing infrastructure and applications necessary for their productivity. In addition, Network Administrators are responsible for implementing network security protocols to safeguard data and avoid unauthorized breaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization’s network architecture ensuring seamless operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration and support.
• Proficiency in network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls is essential.
• Strong understanding of network security measures and best practices is mandatory.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
