Job Role:- MS SQL Administrator

Job Location:- Abu Dhabi, UAE

Experience:- 5-7 Years

Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in a 24x7 mission-critical environment, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance.

• Administer SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
• Manage AlwaysOn, clustering, replication, and HA/DR setups
• Handle backups, restores, and disaster recovery validation
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization
• Resolve incidents like blocking, deadlocks, and outages
• Implement database security (encryption, access control, auditing)
• Support patching, upgrades, migrations, and DR drills
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance readiness
• Provide 24x7 on-call production support

• SQL Server Administration & T-SQL
• AlwaysOn, Clustering, Backup & Recovery
• Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting
• PowerShell / dbatools (basic)
• Database Security (TDE, auditing, access control)
• Monitoring tools (SolarWinds / Redgate / Idera)
• ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)

• 5-7 years MS SQL DBA experience
• Experience in high-availability production environments
• Bachelor?s degree or equivalent
• DP-300 certification preferred
• Willingness for on-call and shift support
