Job Description

The role of MIS and Inventory Management 18J25 is a critical position within our organization that involves the integration and management of information systems to ensure seamless inventory flow and accuracy. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the data management processes that support inventory tracking, supply chain efficiency, and operational effectiveness. You will play a pivotal role in aligning IT strategies with business goals, analyzing data-driven insights to enhance inventory planning, and ensuring that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support our company's inventory objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain information systems for inventory tracking and management efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with supply chain departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data within management systems.
  • Implement data-driven strategies for enhanced inventory planning and forecasting.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory performance metrics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to streamline system processes and software updates.
  • Train staff in the use of inventory management systems and best practices.
  • Develop policies and procedures to enhance inventory systems control and compliance.
  • Monitor technological trends to propose updates to current inventory systems.
  • Support project management efforts in implementing new inventory-related technologies.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure system alignment and understanding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management and MIS best practices implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and auditing processes preferred.
