Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions, specifically CRM capabilities and providing technical leadership to teams. Key responsibilities include creating custom plugins, workflows, and integrations, mentoring developers, ensuring code quality, and aligning solutions with business requirements
Role Purpose
Solution Design & Architecture: Lead end-to-end technical implementation and architecture for Dynamics 365 CRM projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in best practices for coding, customization, and configuration (plugins, JavaScript, PowerApps).
Integration & Development: Develop custom plugins, workflows, and integrations (using REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions).
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional business needs into robust technical requirements and documentation.
Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Mentor technical team members, perform code reviews, and oversee CI/CD pipeline management to enforce high-quality delivery.
System Optimization: Monitor system performance, resolve complex technical issues, and manage system upgrades.
Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues and provide ongoing support to ensure system stability.
Documentation: Maintain clear and accessible technical documentation to support delivery and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable outcomes. Key Accountabilities:
Be able to build D365 CE entities, forms, workflows, dashboards and reports
Be able to develop plug-ins using C#
Be able to code UI logic in JavaScript
Be able to build and release solutions
Write technical documentation in a clear and understandable way
Optionally develop Web resource, PowerApp apps and PowerBI reports
Operational Excellence:
Ensure assigned systems of responsibility to be available 24/7 for customers with high level of availability, performance and application security without any business impact or financial loss.
Provide technical operational support and issues and problems resolution for assigned systems.
Deliver IT projects and tasks assigned for the agreed scoped business requirements, within planned budget, and planned time.
Comply with IT processes, and procedures.
Support requests of information, dashboards, MBLs and ad-hoc reports related to assigned systems.
Maintain the service level of vendors support and quality of development.
Improve awareness and keep knowledge up to date about supported systems and related IT technology solutions.
Communication:
Attend all the team meetings, one to one meeting to have a high level of communication culture.
Timely response to email, tasks assigned and diligent follow-up with various stakeholders.
Prepare task status reports and submit to stakeholders on timely basis.
Documentation / Process Ownership
The incumbent is responsible to comply with documentation and process standards that are defined in SDLC.
Information Security:
Maintain information security related to , throughout the period of employment. As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk. Maintain risk free / controlled IT environment .
Adhere to ADIB security policy & avoid violations or failure of maintaining information security. Achieve satisfactory department audit with no high-risk findings on section.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:
Experience in SDLC and Methodologies.
Experience in Teamwork and Team Leading.
Experience in SQL Database.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent root cause analysis.
Excellent in Time Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Dynamics 365/CRM 2013/2015/2016), including 2+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
Proven track record in delivering complex CRM implementations and integrations.
Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation, plugin development, and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of Azure services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies.
Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, MB-600, MB-400 or equivalent are highly desirable
