Job Description

The Merchandiser II role is a dynamic position that requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for retail trends and an aptitude for maintaining product displays that optimize sales success. As a Merchandiser II, you will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies in multiple retail locations, ensuring that the presentation of products aligns with brand standards and promotional priorities. This role involves regular interactions with store managers and sales associates to enhance consumer engagement and encourage purchasing decisions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance store displays and promotions.
  • Coordinate with store managers to ensure product displays align with sales goals.

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock presentation and availability.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess display effectiveness and create action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align merchandising efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Provide training to retail staff on effective merchandising techniques and strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to provide innovative display solutions.
  • Organize and execute promotional and seasonal display setups in retail locations.
  • Ensure retail space complies with brand guidelines and visual merchandising standards.
  • Investigate and resolve any merchandising issues that adversely affect customer experience.
  • Prepare detailed reports on merchandising activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail merchandising or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and develop merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with store teams and management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
  • Proficiency in retail merchandising software and common business tools.
  • Availability to travel frequently to various retail locations as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift while performing merchandising tasks in-store.
