Job Purpose

The MEP Supervisor plays a critical role within the Operations team at UAE - Integrated Facility Management in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in overseeing the management, control, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety across client facilities.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities related to HVAC, BMS (Building Management Systems), CCTV, and other integrated facility systems to guarantee compliance with organizational and safety standards.
• Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling to minimize downtime and extend asset life cycles, ensuring all maintenance activities are executed with high-quality standards.
• Lead a team of technicians and coordinate labor resources effectively, promoting team accountability and continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation to support maintenance and installation activities and ensure accuracy in execution.
• Ensure proper energy and waste management processes are adhered to within the facility, promoting sustainability and cost efficiency.
• Foster strong communication channels between stakeholders and customers to address operational concerns promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Support integrated FM (Facility Management) planning, aligning operations with broader organizational objectives and ensuring seamless facility services.
  
  

Qualification

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields. Professional certifications relevant to facility management, HVAC, or electrical systems are highly desirable and add value to the candidate's profile.

A comprehensive understanding of integrated facility management principles, HVAC systems, building automation controls, and waste management strategies is essential. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to Abu Dhabi and the UAE will contribute significantly to success in this role.

Strong technical documentation and CAD interpretation skills are required to aid in maintenance and operational planning. The candidate should demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional development through relevant training and certification opportunities.

Experience & Skills

The successful MEP Supervisor will have substantial hands-on experience in facility management operations, specifically managing MEP systems across medium to large-scale properties. A minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles overseeing maintenance teams in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is preferred.
