Job Description

The Medical Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and medical sales personnel. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, and the sales team. As a crucial part of the sales strategy, the coordinator ensures that medical products and equipment meet client needs while facilitating swift deliveries and maintaining client satisfaction. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of sales material. With a keen eye for detail and an understanding of medical products, the Medical Sales Coordinator supports sales representatives in achieving their sales targets and ensures efficient sales operations.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales representatives to facilitate timely delivery of medical products.
  • Liaise with healthcare institutions to ensure client needs are fully understood and addressed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and forecast future sales trends.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of sales materials to support the sales team.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability for fulfilling client orders.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales department by managing schedules and appointments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting medical products.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and company standards in all sales activities.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth by analyzing market trends and client feedback.
  • Train and mentor new sales coordinators or support staff within the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination, preferably in the medical industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical sales processes and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills for successful client interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software applications.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective data analysis and report generation.
  • Availability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
