About The Job
The Media Planning & Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and leading paid media and digital marketing strategies that maximize the value of every marketing spent. This role ensures long-term incrementality of media investments through strategic planning, strong partnerships with leading digital platforms, and performance-driven campaigns leveraging first-party data and real-time optimization. The position plays a critical role in enhancing brand visibility, driving ROI, and fostering innovation across media planning and execution.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Media Planning & Development
Develop and lead paid media and digital marketing strategies, leveraging organizational scale to achieve maximum efficiency and ROI.
Design a long-term approach and lead annual media planning to ensure sustainable growth and incremental value from marketing investments.
Utilize advanced planning tools to identify optimal channel mix across offline and digital platforms for maximum impact.
Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks to measure campaign success and inform future strategies.
Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
Plan and implement paid campaigns across social media, including paid search, paid social, influencer marketing, affiliate programs, and programmatic display initiatives.
Leverage platform-native buying techniques to optimize content performance and achieve superior results.
Drive performance marketing initiatives using first-party data and real-time optimization to enhance ROI.
Ensure all campaigns comply with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify insights and apply learnings to future initiatives.
Partnership & Innovation Management
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with top digital platforms, including Meta, Snap, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google, to secure value-added benefits.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize value and ensure service excellence.
Collaborate with external partners to explore innovative media opportunities and emerging technologies.
Introduce advanced tools and techniques to enhance media planning, buying, and analytics capabilities.
Represent the organization in industry forums to stay ahead of market developments and trends.
Media Analytics & Performance Reporting
Develop robust media analytics frameworks to measure campaign performance and inform decision-making.
Implement real-time optimization strategies leveraging data insights to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
Use advanced analytics tools to track ROI and identify opportunities for improvement across all media activities.
Foster a data-driven culture within the team to enhance accountability and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
8 years of in media planning, strategy, and digital marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in managing paid media budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
Strong expertise in digital platforms, programmatic buying, and advanced analytics tools.
Experience in managing agency relationships and negotiating high-value contracts.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive innovation in media and digital marketing.
