Job Description

A Media Buyer is a professional responsible for purchasing advertising space across various media platforms to promote a brand, product, or service. They strategically analyze market trends and negotiate with media vendors to buy the most effective advertising spaces within a client's budget. Media Buyers work closely with the marketing and creative departments to ensure that the advertising campaign reaches its desired audience and achieves maximum results. They are also tasked with monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, making adjustments where necessary, and ensuring the effective allocation of budgets. A successful Media Buyer stays updated on emerging media channels and technological advancements, integrating these into campaigns to enhance reach and engagement.


Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in media vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex media data.
  • Proficiency in media buying software and digital advertising platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Updated with the latest industry trends and ability to apply them effectively.
