Job Description

As a Media Buyer, you will be an essential part of our marketing team, responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of our media buying campaigns across various channels. Your role will involve negotiating, purchasing, and monitoring advertising space and airtime on behalf of our organization to ensure the highest possible return on investment. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics and knowledge of media trends to make data-driven buying decisions and optimize campaign performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with excellent negotiation skills, and possesses a strong understanding of both traditional and digital media landscapes.


Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and secure optimal media buying deals and advertising space effectively.
  • Conduct market research to identify new media opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics on an ongoing basis.
  • Adjust media buying strategies based on campaign performance analysis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners to facilitate purchases.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage media budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with media regulations and advertising standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and scheduling of media buying plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports on media buying activities for senior management.
  • Participate in strategic meetings to align media buys with overall marketing goals.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and competitive landscape changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role in media planning.
  • Strong understanding of media analytics and performance metrics interpretation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with vendors.
  • Experience working with both traditional and digital media channels effectively.
  • Proficiency in media buying software and digital marketing tools utilization.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate media buys.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative media strategies.
