Mechanical Vendor Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Vendor Inspector to oversee and inspect mechanical installation, construction, maintenance, and quality activities across project sites in the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical installation, fabrication, and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct routine site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Verify mechanical equipment installation, piping, structural supports, and related mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, client specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor work progress and identify non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Review inspection documents, material approvals, and quality records.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and final inspection activities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and safe work practices at site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and submit daily/weekly progress reports.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial, or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection procedures, QA/QC practices, and international standards.
• Experience in inspection of mechanical equipment, piping, and installation activities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Valid Indian or UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Must be willing to manage field/site activities independently.
• CSWIP 3.1 /AWS is Mandatory
• ASNT Level 2 (RT,PT,UT,MT)
• Indian Nationals preferred.
