Mechanical Engineer- Rotary

Summary

This position will be responsible for basic design & engineering of all rotating & Package Equipment such as pumps, compressors, agitators, GTG and vendor packages (Nitrogen/ Instrument Air, Flare/ Fired Heater, ACHE, PHE and water treatment packages).

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Preparation of Rotating/ Package Equipment Design basis, Specifications.
• Preparation of Datasheets.
• Preparation of Material requisitions.
• Evaluation of vendor offers.
• Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation and recommendation.
• Vendor drawing Review.
• Meetings with Clients and Vendors.
• Inter-discipline co-ordination.
• Ensure timely acquisition, review and approval of Vendor deliverables.
• Ensure On time/ On Budget metrics compliance and evoke Engineering Document Change Procedure for scope changes if any.
• Other Engineering Discipline Team; Procurement Division; Expediting Team & Project Management Team.
• Various Vendor Co-ordination; Meeting /Discussion with Clients as required.
• Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Discipline).
• Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in a similar job profile with an EPC or Detail Engineering Organization.
• Familiar with major international design codes like API (610, 661, 674, 675, 676, 682, 685, 614), ASME, ANSI etc
  
  

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work under pressure; Occasional business travel to remote and challenging environments
