Mechanical Engineer - Materials And Design UAE National

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be a key player in the Mechanical engineering team, focusing on the design, and manufacturing support for various hardware of turbomachinery. You will work collaboratively with various departments to execute Fields of Action (FoA) co-creation projects, contributing to the development of a competitive portfolio and leading the energy transition.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Responsible for designing and development of various components (e.g. Rotor, Casings etc.) to meet full spectrum of design requirements (functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, manufacturing requirements and technology, assembly requirements and service requirements).
• Apply appropriate methods which focus on robust design, like tolerance, analysis, standards and design rules.
• Create/prepare/review 2D and 3D CAD model of individual/assembly NX model of different stationary and rotary components. Design Tool experience in NX will be preferred.
• Assign engineering materials and alloys. Actively contributes to focused project teams to support technology and product development objectives, particularly in Mechanical Design and Development.
• Foster a collaborative work ethic within the team and the ICA, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups, including Business Areas and Global Innovation Centers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution

• Highly experienced sales professional with expert knowledge in the energy market – especially for Middle East
• Strategic sales leader with a strong customer focus, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, international environment. Knowledge of the current state of climate change and respective energy policies
• Expert in opportunity development incl. winning strategy, negotiation guidance and with experience in diverse business environments.Entrepreneurial spirit, strong strategic understanding to translate customer requirements into appropriate solutions
• Strong track record of demonstrated leadership and strategic delivery in a global company. High problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven capabilities in driving change and building sustainable teams; experience in an intercultural working and team environment with a cross-regional setup
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written). Willingness to travel on a regular basis
