Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections of incoming and in-process materials on-site.
Ensure all materials adhere to industry standards, project specifications, and regulations.
Document and report material deficiencies and non-compliance to management.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve material quality issues effectively.
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Initiate corrective actions for identified non-conformances in a timely manner.
Develop and implement material inspection techniques and methodologies.
Train and guide junior inspectors and production staff on material standards.
Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and evaluations for traceability.
Assist in supplier quality management to ensure consistent material quality.
Perform root-cause analysis to identify underlying issues in material defects.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in material technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in material inspection or quality assurance.
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Proficient in using inspection tools, machinery, and relevant software.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills to report findings and suggest improvements.
Ability to work independently and within diverse team environments.
