Job Description

The Marketing Officer is a key player in the growth and success of a company by establishing and promoting its brand. Seated at the very heart of the company's brand management team, the Marketing Officer will develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility and market share. They will work collaboratively with other departments to align strategies and ensure coherent communication. This role requires a dynamic individual who is creative and analytical, possessing a good understanding of digital marketing trends and customer behavior. Success in this position means enhanced engagement with the target audience, increased brand loyalty, and improved sales performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans and strategies to meet organizational objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and consumer preferences.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing assets including brochures, ads, and newsletters.
  • Manage the company's online presence through social media and website initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies to amplify marketing efforts.
  • Monitor competitor activities and manage differentiation strategies accordingly.
  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring spending is aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Supervise marketing interns and junior staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events and trade shows as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role with successful strategies implemented.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and digital analytics tools is expected.
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
