Job Description

The Manager of Warehouse Operations and Distributions plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from the point of origin to the final destination. This role is pivotal in coordinating, managing, and improving the warehouse processes to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and service excellence. The individual will oversee the storage, retrieval, delivery, and inventory control systems, focusing on optimizing the warehouse operations to achieve cost-effectiveness and satisfy customer requirements. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of warehouse, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations through the implementation of best practices.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners and internal teams.
  • Coordinate and manage warehouse improvement projects to enhance productivity.
  • Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze and report on operational performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan and execute inventory control measures to keep stock in balance.
  • Collaborate with supply chain team to enhance inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Manage the warehouse budget and reduce operational costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Respond to and resolve issues relating to shipments, inventory, or customer queries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in staff management and training.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for partnerships with vendors and teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
