Job Purpose
Responsible for growing the service business to meet GS 2028 targets, year after year, by driving the growth in multi dimensions with the support of associated team members. Also support &/or work for assigned Service Sales opportunities and associated activities including proposals and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Drive and take full ownership to grow service business in multi dimensions, so to have 30% service contribution by 2028.
Mine the existing installed base, of ICSS, SCADA, software Solutions, Y Product to consistently grow the business, e.g. maintenance contracts, upgrades, retrofits, migration projects, asset health audits, training, Y Product, remote services.
Be creative to expand the service offering, identify and qualifying new business opportunities across all service segments, ensuring alignment with regional growth targets to grow the opportunity pipeline.
Take lead to best support, any and all the initiatives of regional service &/or from global service HQ, e.g. Single Helmet concept, Main Service Contractor (MSC), various growth initiatives .
Develop Territory plan to strategically and systematically grow the business.
Map the customer organization and main strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
Monitor market trends, customer investment plans, and competitor movements to proactively adjust go-to-market strategies
Support &/or work for assigned Service Sales opportunities and associated activities including proposals and related tasks.
Support in any and all the activities assigned by General Manager related to Service department, which may include support to Service Sales team, mentor and support the development of service sales team, standardization of proposal templates and processes to improve efficiency, pipeline review, forecasting, and strategic planning sessions, support in closing terms and conditions and more.
Foster cross-functional collaboration within Service team as well as with Sales and Account Management team, Y Product sales team, project delivery center, RSC, legal, sourcing etc. to ensure consistent customer experience.
Conduct regular team reviews.
Qualification And Experience
A bachelor’s degree in engineering field preferably Instrumentation & Control or Electronics.
More than 12 year of relevant industry experience including Sales & Proposal preparations.
Knowledge on Yokogawa systems and products preferred.
Field and site experience will be additional advantage.
Required Competencies / Skills
High on commitment & ownership of assigned tasks with Pro Active approach, Speed & Quality of work.
Target oriented with strong sales drive and ability to negotiate at all levels of customer organizations.
Knowledge on Yokogawa products and third party.
Sales Account Management
Good in customer relationship management.
Good at with communication (good written and verbal skills) + presentation skills & good listener too.
Collaborative team Player who brings positive energy, enthusiasm and passion to excel.
Should be self-initiator to learn new things and creative in problem solving approach.
Work experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
