Manager – Offshore Construction Abu Dhabi - Rotation (4X4)

Penspen is urgently looking for Manager - Construction Offshore for one of our Offshore PMC projects in UAE.

Job Purpose

The Manager – Offshore Construction is responsible for leading and managing all offshore construction activities, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of brownfield and greenfield offshore projects, including revamp, rejuvenation, hook-up, and commissioning works, in compliance with client, company, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore construction activities for jackets, topsides, pipelines, risers, and associated facilities.
• Oversee execution of rejuvenation, revamp, brownfield tie-ins, and shutdown works on live offshore assets.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE, SIMOPS, PTW, and offshore safety requirements .
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Marine, HUC, and Commissioning teams to ensure constructability and smooth execution.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, lifting plans, and risk assessments.
• Manage offshore contractors, subcontractors, and marine spread activities.
• Monitor construction progress, manpower, productivity, and costs against project schedules and budgets.
• Lead offshore construction readiness, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
• Interface with Client, PMC, and regulatory authorities on construction matters.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Structural or equivalent).
• 20+ years of experience in offshore oil & gas projects, with significant exposure to offshore construction management .
• Proven experience in brownfield offshore projects , including rejuvenation, revamp, and hook-up works.
• Strong knowledge of offshore construction methods, marine operations, and SIMOPS.
• Experience working with PMC / EPC contractors and major operators (ADNOC, Aramco, QatarEnergy, etc.).
• Sound knowledge of international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience on ADNOC Offshore projects, preferable .
• Experience in offshore shutdown management - Preferred .
