Job Description

As Manager of Supervision at GCGRA, your primary responsibility is to deliver the day-to-day Supervision policies and procedures and support oversight of gaming operators and licensees to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain the integrity of the gaming industry, and protect the interests of players. You will play a critical role in monitoring and evaluating compliance with regulatory requirements of licensees and identification and escalation of risk within the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively monitor and evaluate licensees' compliance with regulatory requirements in line with the GCGRA Supervision framework and methodologies.
  • Manage the day-to-day engagements with the licensees, as needed, and including relevant administrative tasks.
  • Provide accurate delivery of the supervision tasks and processes to ensure timely risk escalation and demonstrate understanding of the licensees’ activities and compliance programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of gaming establishments to assess their adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to established monitoring systems and processes to track the activities of gaming operators and licensees. Identify areas of non-compliance and develop recommendations for corrective actions or enforcement measures.
  • Analyse data and key performance indicators to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks to the integrity of the gaming industry.
  • Prepare timely, accurate reports and documentation to communicate findings, observations, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate alignment and delivery of internal as well as externally facing processes.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including other regulatory agencies, as needed.
  • Provide input on regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the regulatory framework. And contribute to the development and revision of gaming regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Share expertise with other colleagues and promote a join approach to the delivery of supervision activities.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, supervision, or related roles within the gaming industry or a regulatory agency. Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • University degree or professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision.
  • Familiarity with supervision frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
